Review of Mrs. Miniver (1942) by Daniel P — 17 Jun 2007
Really wonderful film, and I have to agree with the synopsis. It didn't win seven oscars for nothing. Greer Garson was such an incredible actress, she had such expressive eyes and she said more with them than any of the dialogue.
Teresa Wright also gave a very poignant performance. Propaganda? Sure, but it's 1942 what do you expect?
