Review of Mrs. Miniver (1942) by Lisa-Jane T — 21 Feb 2008
A lovely film that must have created quite an impact upon its initial release. I loved the script and Greer Garson especially - there was such an ease to her it made me wonder if the actor playing her was just being herself.
I could have done without Vinn's wackadoo accent but overall, I found it to be a sweet film that gave me insight into the fortitude and resolve of those living through a dark time...
