Review of Mrs. Miniver (1942) by Tim C — 11 Mar 2008
An antiquated WW2 classic that doesn't miss its mark and appeal 60 years later. It looks at the war realistically on the domestic front without any glossy compromises. Greer Garson radiates strength against dark times and Teresa Wright shines as hope and normal continuity amidst war, which led them to their respective Oscars.
A film classic to be watched every WW2 anniversary and a must see.
