The only reason the word "propaganda" shows up when people describe this film is because it won best picture in 1942, and because it has an anti-german feeling throughout. Let me ask you this: is anti-german sentiment uncommon in 1942? Definitely not.
This is not a propaganda flick, it is a truly good movie.
