Review of Mrs. Henderson Presents (2005) by Daryl R — 27 Feb 2010
Charming, but lacking in substance. Dench and Hoskins both do ok, but doesn't seem to stretch themselves. And for some reason, although I wouldn't be able to explain why, I get the distinct feeling that the story wouldn't be half as interesting if one didn't know it was based on the actual history of the Windmill Theater.
