Review of Mrs. Doubtfire (1993) by Nat A — 05 Jun 2014
A lighthearted comedy, that correctly uses the 'man dressed as a woman' premise so as to compel the audience and end the movie in a way that satisfies and pleases. Robin Williams does a phenomenal job and really shines in this movie as a comic genius and solidifies himself with this role as a comedy giant among the likes of Bill Murray, Steve Martin and so on.
Although the sentimental plot points were a tad predictable and cliché, the message influenced by Williams' performance sealed the film well despite any complaints.
