Mrs. Brown transports us to the times of Queen Victoria and we are provided with the front seats to witness her platonic relationship with one of his men. Connolly's portrayal of the queen's confidante grabs you to wish that he is also your protector.
Judi Dench, with her outstanding performance in this film, really tops the list of today's brilliant thespians.
