Review of Mr. Wrong (1996) by Cory T — 12 Sep 2008
Not very good, I'm afraid. It's pretty painful to watch really good actors like Joan Cusack and Joan Plowright and Dean Stockwell try to make sense of such horribly written characters. There is no psychological consistency, everyone just runs around being wacky and it's not truthful at all.
Which is characteristic of a lot of Hollywood "comedies," in my opinion. Although I still love Ellen and would follow her to the ends of the earth.
