If viewers of this film engaged in a drinking game triggered by each of Mr. Turner's grunts they'd be at serious risk of alcohol toxicity. If alcohol is not available, sleep would be a suitable alternative.
At 2.5 hrs this film is a slog of epic proportions. When a film pretty well fleshes out the main subject's character within the first 15-20 minutes, the remaining time, in this case way too much time, will drive you, as Mr.
Turner would say, "into the arms of Morpheus." Oh well, as Terence Fletcher would say, "Not my tempo.".
