Review of Mr. Turner (2014) by Brett B — 25 May 2015
I knew little about Turner before watching this and if the movie is accurate, it gives an insight into the life of someone who is always wanting something else. The film takes a good while to kick in and become interesting and some of the supporting actors felt a bit stage, as well as the sets all a little too perfect and clean for the time.
The film has been beautifully put together and although it is hard to feel sorry for such an ogre of a man, the tale to be told is great.
