There were some awful scenes in this movie, Any scenes with the kids were almost unbearable, but Capra loves to get sappy, Besides that though this movie is very good. Stewart is as good as he always is.
The scene at the Lincoln memorial is heartwarming. This movie shows politics at its worst and at its best. The senate scenes at the end are some of the best scenes in movie history.
