Review of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939) by William W — 15 Oct 2008
It was really good watching this film, mature and well made making it affectionate despite that naively romantic theme about politics. A memorable and remarkable last scene, when Mr. Smith was speaking for more than 3 days.
There were 2 people I appreciated the most: "Frank Capra" as a director and producer and "Jean Arthur" of course.
