I really and truly cannot think of a more patriotic movie that I've seen than "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington". Jimmy Stewart plays a young up and coming politician who has wonderful plans and fantasies to make the country that he loves better, but learns all too quickly that the politicians that he has come to work with do not share his ideals or his respect for the Constitution that this country was built on.
This story is a disturbing parralell of what we are going through in our day and age. Watch this movie, you will not regret it!
