Review of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939) by Sagnik B — 25 Mar 2010
One of the most inspiring and beautiful movies I've ever seen. It is surely one of the best classic movies. James Stewart, who plays Jefferson Smith, a newly elected young senator in the movie, is as powerful as the movie.
His acting is praiseworthy! He proved us that if you are determined and honest, even a small truth can be proved against all the lies. And You CAN prove it single handedly as did Mr. Smith. He proved that if you believe in yourself, you can fight against all corruptions.
He was the only young and honest senator out there, but he fought against all political corruptions and lies, and he finally succeeded after a long 23 hours and 16 minutes speech continuously holding the land in the Senate House.
It was the most unusual thing ever happened but he proved that "NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE".
