Review of Mr. Right (2016) by Rangan R — 01 Jul 2016
I'm not a director. I was a performer way back in my teens. I watch movies to become engaged and entertained. Some movies changes lives, and others snap you out of reality and entertain you on a whim.
Renting "Mr. Right" was a whim. I had never heard of it, but I enjoy Anna's dry sarcasm and curiosity ensued. This movie doesn't take itself seriously and it doesn't need to. Each character is unapologetically insane and aware of their mishaps and though some of the dialogue and storylines seemed unconnected to the plot and the characters, the story is comical and fun.
Sometimes films just need to be enjoyable and I enjoyed it immensely.
