"Wicked story, penguins in a NY appartment...?!" First things first, Jim Carrey is getting old! Still he shines as a big shot real estate agent, working for this big firm, smart-talking his way to wealth.

Jim also seems to connect with these cute penguins who each have a perticular character making it slightly unreal, not to say a lot. The CGI bits are excellent. Popper needs to get one deal with an old landlady to be safe in the firm.

Sadly a lot of his time goes to this instead of his kids who he only sees at weekends. The landlady isn't easily convinced and needs to see what he's worth, meaning a change to spend more familytime.

Meanwhile he get's very attached to the penguins and they even laid eggs. It gets so far that he converts his high-end NY flat into an ice resort. The fact that his secretary has a obsession of using the letter 'p' in every sentence is not too much, I found it a remarkable skill.

Luckely she doesn't come to screen that much. She does meet an other neurotic freak. Eventually the guy from the zoo takes them away, but it's not long before a great escape occurs in which Captain takes his dare for a touching scene.

Nicely put together that. The happines is exclamated a lot, surely because of Carrey's extended smiles. It all conveniantly works out at the end. Very nice family movie!
