Review of Mr. Popper's Penguins (2011) by Dylan R — 21 Jan 2012

I wasn't interested to see this film at first, but it was actually quite cute and funny. I liked seeing Angela Lansbury in another film, for she is one of the all-time greatest actresses I've ever seen.

Jim Carrey always gives a really great performance. At times, it got a little bit kiddish and could have been taken out. Overall, it was an enjoyable film but not nearly as good as some of the other movies of this year (Mission Impossible: ghost protocol; the help; war horse, etc).
