The film is what it is. Completely ridiculous but it is put together like an old-fashioned movie, which isn't a bad thing. It is so nice to see a movie that doesn't rely on special effects, but just a family.
I found it very sweet and charming and I would definitely choose this of the Chipmunks any day of the week.
