If you are a fan of Jim Carrey, you will land on one of two side of an opinion of this film: one, this is a showcase for how far he has dropped from his mid-90s heyday; or two, it is that talent and knack for physical comedy that made him a star in the 90s that ultimately saves this film from falling into kid-film oblivion.
While there is a bit of truth to both these sides, I suppose, I tend to see myself holding the latter opinion. All in all, a fun kids flick, but "Liar Liar," is a far better film to see with a similar character for Carrey.
