Review of Mr. Peabody & Sherman (2014) by Scott W — 26 Jun 2014

This is a fun, if not too special animated movie. I was not familiar with the Mr. Peabody and Sherman cartoon from the old Rocky and Bullwinkle days, so I didn't know about the concept. It basically is like the kids version of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

The movie never lags, there is good energy throughout. If I had a criticism, I thought they tried to stuff too many historical characters in, especially near the end. It was good to see two people from Modern Family voicing main characters (Ty Burrell and Ariel Winter).

It's not one of the best animated movies of the past ten years but it's decent.
