Review of Mr. Peabody & Sherman (2014) by Kyle M — 28 Jan 2015

Rob Minkoff, the director of one of the greatest animated films of all time "The Lion King," returns to the world of animation in this another really good animated film from the director. But he'd added a little of one of the main clichés of animated films today: silliness. It happens sometimes throughout the film, but the good thing is that this one of some offers more enough to run over it.

This time travel family film follows the roots of the original show from the Rocky & Bullwinkle universe - which by the way it's better than the other adaptations on the characters of that universe - with an addition of heart and animation at a great level at the top level, while comedy is next to the crafted story provoking thoughts on its direction and meaning and historical facts.

What the film contains, including similarities from other time travel films ("Back to the Future: Part II" and "Meet the Robinsons") could've made this into an intentional A-movie, but with the silliness and some negativity, it's at a fine rating that still marks this as a really good film. (B+).
