Review of Mr. Peabody & Sherman (2014) by Saintivan — 09 Mar 2014

I took my nearly 8 year old daughter to see this movie today. The movie got many things right....Mr. Peabody and Sherman themselves are both animated and voiced perfectly. You will especially find yourself liking Sherman.

There are enough good jokes for both kids and adults to satisfy, and the plot itself is not bad. Near the end, you will groan with the cliche, melodramatic sell-out that drags on. This was a big disappointment to me, and kept me from rating the movie higher.

All in all, a better than average kids flick which actually has some meaning in it.
