Review of Mr. Peabody & Sherman (2014) by Connie S — 28 Nov 2014
A very average animation venture by DreamWorks. The whole plot itself is rather shallow and doesn't exactly give you any reason to think beyond the 1 and a half hours of runtime. The animation is also nothing overly revolutionary with most of the characters quite forgettable.
The art style was fun to look at, ranging from their imagination of historical landmarks to the recreation of NYC. However this hardly saves the movie from its obvious plot problems. The film seem to cater only to the under 13 category and the older audiences quite frankly should be disappointed.
