Dreamworks trying to be clever and funny. You have a dog adopting a boy. You have time travel with too much science fiction. In the end everyone claims to be a dog. After, all the man claims to be woman (Bruce Jenner) and White girl claims to be black ( Racial Rachel) and all the other nonsense like Elizabeth Warren claiming to be Indian; the stuff is not funny anymore.
Maybe it never was.
