Unfortunately for Leeds most infamous resident the story is just too nice to make a good film. It had no pace and just rambled on at the same pace for nearly 2 hours, like someone stoned telling a story.

Perhaps that's intentional? However it's memorable if only for the fact it's probably the last time you will see Rhys Ifans and David Thewlis in the same film.
