Synopsis: Former professional wrestler Sean Armstrong is lured out of retirement to serve as bodyguard for an inventor and protect him from master criminal Tommy Thanatos, who wants to steal a microchip that could affect the course of world peace. Unbeknownst to Sean, a child-hater, he will also be expected to serve as bodyguard (and nanny) to the inventor?s children, who attempt to drive him away as they have driven away every other nanny. Review: Maybe this movie was better in 1993 when it originally came out. It wasn?t as bad as I thought it might be, but it definitely wasn?t good.. The main thing that was wrong with this movie was the main star Hulk Hogan. For some reason the bigger guys can?t act, but some of them can still pull it off and make a good movie. Hulk Hogan to me ruined this movie. It was actually funny at the things that happened to him, but when he started saying lines you just wanted to shoot whoever casted him. I?m sure he was just cast for his size and name, but you can?t do that, though Hollywood to this day still does it. Honestly I prefer skill rather than appearance. It was almost like Hogan came right onto the set in one day, never looked at the script, spit his lines out off a prompter and went home.
The story to it is even kinda stupid, they should have done something different then this microchip and especially changed the villain. I mean sure it was made as a family movie, but come on, make it alittle more thought out than what it was. It would have worked maybe as a spoof of something, but it wasn?t so it just looked ridiculous. Like I said the things that happen to Hogans character is funny, but go watch ?Home Alone? and you?ll almost get some of the same stuff, and its actually good.
So I wouldn?t advise even letting your kids, or whoever watching it. Because 1) it could give your kids ideas and 2) it will probably lower their IQ for watching such crap. The only reason it even got a 4 was because there was a few good laughs in there, but not enough for a viewing.
