Mr. Mom is directed by Stan Dragoti, and it stars Michael Keaton and Teri Garr in a comedy about a father who was laid off from his work, and when her wife end up getting a job faster than he did, he has to stay at home to take care of his kids while his wife goes to work.

I been wanting to see this for quite some time as I need to watch all of the films that John Hughes was involved as writer or director, and with Michael Keaton being well known in comedies instead of Bateman during the time, I'm curious to see where his career was before Batman, which this was a great movie, even if it doesn't feel like a John Hughes film.

Michael Keaton is very likable in this, and I do like how comedically confused he is in being a stay at home parent. The characters are interesting, and I did find the wife's story just as interesting as Michael Keaton's story.

The plot is very sitcomy, which is interesting because there was a sitcom that was on the Freeform channel called Baby Daddy, which I have no intention in seeing it. The jokes get a laugh from me, and the best part was when it starts going on soap opera territory which is probably where you start to get a hint of John Hughes in there.

The plot is predictable at times, and there are scenes that you seen in so many films that done it. Mr. Mom may not be as fantastic as the John Hughes classics, but I did like what I saw of it, but would not watch it as much as his bests.
