Never stop believing in yourself. This film is far from being magical, but Dustin Hoffman, Natalie Portman, Jason Bateman and Zach Mills fit their respective characters as Mr. Edward Magorium (Avid Shoe-Wearer), Molly Mahoney the Composer, Henry Weston the Mutant, and Eric Applebaum, the Hat Collector.
The characters lack depth, though.
