Review of Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (2007) by Thomas B — 03 Nov 2009
I had no expectations whatsoever as I sat down with my kids to watch this one. I was pleasantly and utterly surprised by a colourful, merry, vivid, lovely feel-good film ... essentially about dying and losing someone you love - explained in a way that adult and children alike can understand and relate to if only they'll watch and listen.
Zach Mills shines wonderfully with curious subtlety and Hoffman is just mindblowing. Gorgeous cinematography.
