I ended up watching this film the night after my mom's father died... not necessarily the best pick. I'm a fan of Dustin Hoffman but this is among my least favorite of his parts. Actually, I would probably say the same for Natalie Portman and Jason Bateman.
The one thing I really enjoyed was the kid who worked at the shop because he was hilarious. It wasn't bad. But it wasn't necessarily good.
