Review of Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (2007) by Tanya J — 23 Nov 2011
One of my favorite films because although it is aimed at children, its script goes beyond those years. Mr. Magorium's wisdom, his puns, his annecdotes, and his glittering vocabulary all amount to a level of literary deliciousness I so rarely find in film.
And Natalie Portman's struggle for a "sparkle" is one any woman can relate to. Movies like these give way to dreams full and bright.
