Review of Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (2007) by Clayton R — 29 Apr 2012
What would have worked as a short film is simply over-run with excess filler. It's admittedly visually delightful, almost posing to the camera regularly (if also excessively), and the story does offer a sweet rdepiction of the cycle of life & death.
But the film lacks convincing, or even creative characters, and the story's extra slow pace loses the interest of even the youngest of viewers, which is sad.
