What a surprising and lovely film! I had no idea what I was in for when I went to see this movie. I think it was a Wednesday morning dollar deal for kids in the summer and my sister and I saw it... why? on a whim? because of Natalie Portman and Dustin Hoffman? I'm not really sure.
.. But I absolutely loved it! The whimsy! The music! The saturated colors! Jason Bateman (this was the first time I really discovered him)! Zach Mills! Zach Helm! One of the best surprise finds of my life, I think.
