Review of Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (2007) by Millo T — 23 Apr 2010
Little more to add about this movie, you all imagine what is about and depend on your likes or dislikes about this kind of movies. But away from the acting from Dustin Hoffman (he does what he must do), underline the excellent role of Natalie Portman.
You know, it´s an actress that means a lot for me. When I see her eyes, I think I see the eyes of universe. When I see her crying, it is like if I had to help her because I feel terribly sad, when I see her smiling, it´s like the world feeling joy.
That´s the enormous impression that Natalie Portman produces in me, not only by her physic and corporal expression, but also by her voice, mainly in Spanish (I´ve had little oportunities to listen to her in original version).
If, furthermore, you put her in a movie which inspires about dreams and imagination -an issue that I particularly like, as that is what this world needs-, the effect is complete.
