Review of Mr. Jealousy (1998) by Frances H — 12 Apr 2013

To me all the skulking around and never communicating in this movie did not really seem like jealousy. I grew up in a marriage where jealousy took the form of constant heated arguments and yelling that was instantly communicated.

I've seen other jealousy relationships and none ever took this form--there was always the instant communication of that most heated emotion. So this film presented it as far too quiet and less fervent than jealousy ever is in real life.

And it wasn't funny enough to really be a good comedy.
