Review of Mr. Holmes (2015) by Susie P — 15 Oct 2015

This movie is the equivalent of watching a tortoise slowly chew gum. Almost every scene is filled with Ian McKellen slowly boiling his lines out as he plays this (what seems to be) 90 year old Sherlock Holmes.

There are no great deduction scenes like in previous Sherlock movies and shows just deductions that a 4 year old could have done and not even that good to be honest. One scene he says "men only come to see a detective about their wives" really? no other reason? Watch it if you want to spend an entire movie where Ian McKellen sits in a chair and slowly says things.

I almost fell asleep 3 times while trying to get through this snore-fest. What really gets me is all these reviewers saying this is a work of art, its not.
