I oddly love films about people getting coming to terms with aging/looking back on their lives and on that front 'Mr. Holmes' certainly doesn't disappoint. Bill Condon keeps things moving along nicely here despite to quiet, somber tone and of course Ian McKellen is wonderful in the lead role.
