Occasionally heavy handed (scenes of post-war Hiroshima), but it's streaming with pathos, well-painted landscapes, fine acting, and actual dialogue in the classic sense. I knew this was going to be good.
Gandolf as Sherlock Holmes in a period piece? Shut up and take my money lol. A very good film. Not the greatest, but very good.
