Alright so in one of my freshman college classes we were given an assignment to write about any movie we chose. one of the kids in my "peer editing group" chose this one, even though he clearly never saw it.
he referred to mr. holland as "mr. opus", which I could almost have overlooked. halfway through the paper he started calling him "mr. holland" though, then reverted back to "mr.
opus." I just drew a sad face on his title page. oh yeah, the movie is okay.
