I feel close to the fact that I am a very grateful recipient of my music education in high school so the premise of this film being about the journey of a music teacher in such a high school swept me into the devolution and systematic deletion of the arts from Americas's public schools.
When Mr. Holland received his acknowledgement by the school alumni performing his AMERICAN RAPSODY tears of joy shot from my eyes.
