Review of Mr. Deeds Goes to Town (1936) by John R — 21 Nov 2007
Gary Cooper and Jean Arthur are both great in a film about a small town guy who inherits big time money, and then they try and prove he's crazy so the inheritance goes to someone else. The ending shows a wonderful study in human nature and human foibles.
A film classic.
