Review of Mr. Deeds Goes to Town (1936) by Victoria W — 29 Aug 2007
Complete and utterly delightful. Gary Cooper is perfection, Jean Arthur is one of the best female leads in the decade, and the entire film is not only funny and idealistic like the very best of Capra, but, all combined, makes one of the most adorable films ever made.
And sigh to Gary Cooper.
