Really forgettable Sandler "comedy". Nobody wants to see his sweet side on camera. This just doesn't fit him. It's not just that though. The jokes are terrible and often childish. Peter Gallagher, John Turturro & JB Smoove are the lone bright spots.
Deeds even manages to ruin Steve Buscemi's small part. The scene when he first arrives to NY and meets Turturro is pretty funny though. Oh, and Winona Ryder sucks.
