To say that this would be a better movie if it was told from Mr. Church's view is ridiculous. Mr. Church did not write an autobiography. It was written from the author's perspective. It is the only perspective she could honestly tell.
Besides, the humility and demons that made him a private man, would have stopped him from telling his own story. Well written, directed and acted...by the entire cast. It is a slow moving story, so action mongers will want to skip this one.
