Review of Mr. Brooks (2007) by Lauren C — 26 Jan 2010
I'm generally not a fan of serial killer flicks. But this one is told from a different angle altogether - it's from the viewpoint of the serial killer. It's about Mr. Brooks, who simply put is addicted to killing.
And it's like any other addiction - you want to quit but you just can't stop yourself from one last bite, one last puff and in this case, one last killing. The best part of it is that throughout most of the plot, there's a human element to the bizarre activities that Mr.
Brooks commits. I didn't necessarily feel sorry for him, but I could understood his pain. Kevin Costner and William Hurt are brilliant.
