Review of Mr. Brooks (2007) by Christian P — 31 May 2011
Amazing film. Despite the psychology being a bit off, the film is compelling and well worth a watch. One of my favorite serial killer movies of all time. Touching compared to "Henry", "Man Bites Dog", "Poughkeepsie Tapes", or the AU trilogy.
The film acts almost like a morality play with its not too subtle metaphore, and the killer is somewhat moving in his attempt to overcome his compulsion.
