Review of Mr. Brooks (2007) by Esteban G — 28 Dec 2011
This is one of those films in which you go for the bad guy. In a sense you want him to get a way with everything since he is so meticulous about everything he does. He has everything planned and you cant guess what he is going to do next.
He is the bad guy no one can ever suspect and he even fools the audience because we kind of want him to get away with murder. Great character development. William Hurt´s role in this movie is a big part of the character and loved how this film was developed.
We cant see Costner as the bad guy just as we dont want to see Mr. Brooks as the serial killer.
