Review of Mr. Brooks (2007) by Samuel J — 21 Nov 2012
Bruce A. Evans takes a break from family films to deliver the most original and brutal serial killer film since Henry or Silence of the Lambs. Kevin Costner gives one of the best performances of his career as a successful family man addicted to murder.
His performance is strongly matched my his evil and methodical alter ego Marshall, played by William Hurt. A film that works on so many levels, Mr. Brooks will surly please a wide variety of film fans.
