Review of Mr. Brooks (2007) by David K — 09 Nov 2009
Demi Moore, Kevin Costner; Story about a serial killer obsessed with killing random people for the sheer thrill of it. High concept, but low psychology. Character development never gets a chance to make you care about them.
William Hurt plays the tortured Kostner's evil conscience that nobody else can see. Sort of like the evil Jimini Cricket. The story is disjointed & not believable. Starts out interesting but I don't recommend this one.
The only scenes worth watching with Demi are the lame skin scenes in the deleted section.
