Review of Mr. Boogedy (1986) by Annette K — 21 Apr 2013
A short family fantasy-horror from the mid 80's, when Disney (trying to restore its tarnished image) had a weekly TV series in which it would showcase short films they produced.
This was the most memorable of them all, but it was all very silly. A novelty supplier and his family move into a new house which is haunted, but they all think it's fun and games and the family playing tricks on each other... Until Mr. Boogedy proves he is real.
I really enjoyed this when I was a kid and it's a shame Disney don't do more half-hour segments on a Saturday afternoon for the family to sit around. It's certainly better than half the crap on weekend TV nowadays.
